Our story
A store built by the village
Tysse has had a country store since 1862. When the last shop closed in 2020, the village was left without one. Local people raised the money and built a new self-service store by the quay as a community effort. Tysse Landhandel opened on 3 June 2023. It is owned by the village, and the profit goes back to Tysse.
